drop list

hi all !

i have a drop down list in a form.
the users of the data base are typing text in there instead of
selecting from the list.
how can i make it so they cannot type text and only select what is in
the drop down list.

thanks

Does it help if you set the Not In List property of the combo?

i couldnt find the "not in list" property on the table design.
i tried the "limit to list" property but this did not work.
i dont know what else i could do , i may have to change it to an
option group ???
thanks

What happened when you set Limit To List to No?

What should happen is that if the user types something that is not in the
list, Access stops them from proceeding until they make a valid choice.
