Query Criteria for SSN

P: n/a
jpr
I have a textbox on a form with an input mask for SSN.
A cmdbutton runs the query and if the record is found, it opens a form.

The SSN field I am searching is in a table called myTable and has the
format 000-00-0000XY (meaning 13 characters).

Is there a way I can set the criteria to search only the first 11
characters excluding the last two and keep the input mask? Thanks.

You've heard of the Left() function?
