Pre-formatted Hyperlinks

Hey guys,

I've been trying to find a simple solution to my problem. I'm trying
to pre-format a hyperlink in Access...

Basically I want someone to be able to enter a number into a hyperlink
field, but apply different context to that number....

So in the field of a form they enter '1234'. I want it to display
'1234' in blue with an underline (like a link)...

I can achieve this using the 'hyperlink' setting for the column, but
then i want the link to be:

http://something/something/1234

instead of just

http://1234
Make sense? Any way to do this?!?!

Set the foreground color to Blue, underline.

You could store the base part of the link to a textbox. You could
either set the visible property to yes or no, depending on what you
want. Your entire link could be
Dim strLink As Link
strLink = Me.BaseLink & Me.SubLink

Now look at FollowHyperLink or Follow in help.
