Talking to website

Hi,

I have a small access db. In that db, I need to access some data from a
website. This website has authetication page login.asp. Is there way I
can login to this webserver from access and talk to server? I mean send
queries and get the data back and then display in form or query?

Any smaller hints would be really appriciative. I have never done any
asp or vba.

I tried to do this from command url:
http://server/login.asp?usrid=UserName?password=Pswrd

but no luck.

Hitesh,
Yes it can be done. . . but it's going to be tough for someone who has
never done any vba.

One way is to put a browser control on a form and manipulate the page's
dom through code.

Good luck

Pachydermitis,

Thank you. Your hint was very helpful. I have created an empty form
with a browser control. Linked that browser control to a command button
on my main form. I am also implimenting a way to autmatically login
into CRM website and trying to link the crmid in my db with the crmid
on main CRM database. so when user clicks the button, it will take him
to the CRM page displaying all other info that is available for that
CRMID.
Thank you,
Hitesh
