Access and Apache

I've never used Access before and I'm being asked to create a database for help tickets. That part was easy, now it needs to work with Apache Web Server. Techs need to utilize the database throughout the world. So far all I've got is an executable on the homepage that brings up the database. However, when tickets are added they are added to the local machine and not to the server.

Do you have accessed the database from Explorer on the Local Machine using Localhost?

I think that if it is working on the local machine you have to open the port for Internet access!

It's very interesting to connect Appache and Access! How did you connect it? I've never done but i'm interested for use of Access databases from Internet! You are using what kind of scripts to connect appache and the database of Access? Maybe you use the pages in MS Access written on vb script?

Please post your results here it's very interesting your work!
