Suggestions for software for mass emailing

I am looking for suggestions for software or access code or utilities to
assist in doing mass emailings from an Access database. The emailings
would likely be a few thousand at a time. Generally 10,000 as a
maximum. I can send them out through an exchange server.
Anyone have experience doing this and can suggest software, access code
or utilities?

Thanks

I would suggest using a web-based service, like CoolerMail. The
reason is that they've worked out all the spam problems. They also
have easy upload and assist you in designing your email (should you
choose to send HTML). A client of mine used to use Access to send
out mass emails, but increasing restrictions by their ISP and
increased false positives from spam filters (their mailings were
entirely permission-based, i.e., nobody ever got an email who hadn't
asked to be on the list) made about half of them get lost. They
switched (at my recommendation) to CoolerMail (I know a person who
works for them), and are thrilled with the results.
