Multiple Parent/Child record-2-record links within same table

2 New Member
Folks,

I am in the process of designing a database, within which I have created a table called "tblDOCUMENTS". As the title suggests, this is a list of documents (records) of varying types. I would like to cretae a many-to-many relationship 'within' the table.

All of the records are related to zero, 1, or more 'other' records...all of which are located within this table. In reality, there is no unique criteria which leads to the link, the documets simply reference one another within the text. I need a means of listing any 1 document, and thereby get a list of other documents which it references. Access 2003 does not appear to provide an easy method of doing this, so I present this question to those of you with more experience with Access 2003 (and programming for that matter).

* Please note that I'm a mechanical engineer by trade and any/all of my Access 2003 experience has been self-taught. I have no programming expertise and am 'learning as I go"...so please bear this in mind when replying with suggestions :o

Thanks
