Toolbar with large bitmap, eg 58 pixels x 58 pixels

I want to create a toolbar with large bitmaps in Access (something like
MS Internet explorer's toolbar).

I have been fiddling with MSDN for the past 2 days without much leads.

I am thinking of creating a DLL using C/C++, which can I then call from
Access; but I am wondering how to connect toolbar events with Access.

Any tips ? Thanks.
