Filtering on a form

Hi all
I have a form which list a Company and its details.
On the form is a 'CompanyType' combo box. I would like to filter the
dataset to show only those records that are of that CompanyType after
the user selects an option from that combo box. What is the best method
of doing this.

Click the funnel-shazam button, also known as the funnel-electric-bolt
button, also known as the filter-by-selection button.
or
Right click on the form's border; choose filter by selection in the
pop-up menu.

I have a basic rule for developing Access applications. It is:
"Don't do anything with record navigation or display that the Access UI
will do."
That is because, although I have been writing code for twenty or so
years, I cannot do these things as well as the Access UI does them.
So I save my ***brilliance*** for things like database design and
calculating functions and the like, which the wonderful Access UI does
not do.

Others do mess with this. I hope one or more of them will talk about
how to "implement that functionality in code", because I have no idea
and if I make something up, undoubtedly it will be flawed.
