Date criteria

Hi,

I need help, please...

I have a date field which I reformatted like this:
Sdate:Left([SessionDate],10). I then have a criteria on this field as
follows: Between #10/11/05# And #10/25/05#. My problem is that I am
getting records > than 10/25/05. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Edgar

You basically converted a date field into a string field. In a string
field, you'll get 1,10...19,100...199 then 2, 20...29, 200...299 if
sorting between 1 and 999.

Maybe filter on the dates. Either that, then filter/sort on records in
yyyymmdd format.

Salad,

Thanks for the insight. I changed the Sdate format to:
SDate:DateValue([SessionDate]). Now it's working.
