Two Query Questions

1. Can you do a parameter query on a Memo field?

2. Can I set up a query to find all records that do not have a date in
the field.

As you can probably tell, I have tried but have not been successfull
yet.

Thank you for your time.

Yes.
One way is to set the criteria on the Memo field to something like:
Like "*" & [What are you looking for] & "*"
2. Can I set up a query to find all records that do not have a date in
the field.
Yes.
As criteria on the Date field:
Is Null

As you can probably tell, I have tried but have not been successfull
yet.
In the future, whenever you post, I would suggest that if you have
tried something and it hasn't worked, let us know what you have tried
and what did, or did not, happen. It would help us help you. Also let
us know your Access version number, as sometimes times that will make
a difference in the answer.

Thank you for your time.

1. Yes.

2. If you can define the exact "format" of what is a date inside a text
string, then yes. Keep in mind that "9/2/2005" is not the same as "09/02/05"
or "9/2/05" or "September 2, 2005" or "Sep 2, 2005" or "2 September 2005"
etc.
