How to include field names as first row of selct query?

TD
I need to return the field (or column) names as the first row in a
select query. Any way to do this without resorting to vba?

Thanks,
TD

No, but why do you need to do that? In every case I can think of where I need
the field names to appear before the data rows, there is some other existing
mechanism to do that such as an export option.

This query is used as the rowsource for a graph in a report. The
legend names for each lines plotted in the grpah is derived from the
first row of vlaues returned in the query. Thats why.
