Opening a new thread related to some other discussions -

just to make sure < < <

that installing an OCX or adding an mdb using references other than
the BASIC-3 that I use in all my other A97 MDB's will not change the
references in any of those other existing MDB's.

The LAST thing I want to do is cause myself a problem in OTHER
databases because of my curiousity and desire to learn about and
experiment with OCX's, ActiveX controls and references. We all know
what curiousity did to the cat - and I ain't that sharp of a cat.

Yes. That is correct. Changing references in one mdb (either adding or
removing) will have no effect on your other mdb's.
