General Approach to Updating Via Forms

I am not very experienced myself with Access (using A2K) and find
myself writing applications for users who have never used a PC.

All the samples I've seen use the built-in features of Access -
subforms where you add a record via the navigation buttons on the form,
etc.

I am worried about my users (don't have a PC at home, don't have email,
don't know anything about windows or computers) being able to manage
their business without "undo".

Also, the details that have to be added are usually more than can fit
on one-line on a subform.

Can anyone (many people?) adivse on approach? I am trying now to
create a form for everything, with a button on each form: Add New
(opens said form in data entry mode); Save Changes (saves changes just
made - or Save Record saves new); Undo (obvious).

I am doing everything with code, and one person said I was makeing it
way too hard on myself, but I am worried about these very novice and
nervous users. These apps are business applications.

Many thanks to all who contribute their thoughts and experience.

Microsoft did not design Access with the notion of confusing the
inexperienced.

I strongly recommend you use the program, Access, for which you and
your users paid.

The notion that a beginner is going to design a better interface than
Access's own is bizarre. After ten years you might try it.

Thank you. I never looked at it quite that way, and it makes perfect
sense! I am about 1/2 way through redesigning my application, as
Access intended. It feels simpler, too. I know just what to teach my
users, and even have prioritized much of it in my mind.

Appreciate the feedback.
