dbo qualified name error in Access 2003

Jer
I have an Access Project front-end to an MSDE database. I have given
all users
db_owner role. My server is MSDE 2000.
I use the following code to import a spreadsheet:
docmd.transferspreadsheet acImport,
acSpreadsheetTypeExcel97,
"dbo.DL_Funding_Data",
"theFilename.xls",
True

When I use an adp from Access 2000, this code executes successfully for
all
users. When I use an adp from access 2003, this code gets error 3078
and
will only work if I remove the "dbo." from the name of the table.

Thanks for any help,
Jerry

My guess is that it's imserting the dbo prefix for you, and not noticing that
you already supplied one. Having used ADPs in A2K and A2K2 already, it's no
surprise to me at all that yet another behavior had changed from version to
version in a way that causes old code to break and need to be changed. That's
how it is with ADPs, and that's one reason I don't use them anymore.
