Text Box Values

Hi everyone.

Can anyone assist with this?

How do I go about setting the value of a form text box to the value of
a variable?

to explain;

I have a declared a public variable called Serial

On the opening of a form called frm_Order which is opened in data input
only I want one of the text boxes to be set to the variable Serial

Thanks

Andy

Don't create a public variable, but declare a public
function called Serial that references a private module
variable mSerial. Then you can use it as a default value of
your textbox.

But it sounds like you are trying to create something an
AutoNumber field could do. Are you sure you want to manage
this yourself?
