Export Access data directly to Quickbooks

I have a client who wants to export his Access purchase order data (from the
system I am designing) directly into Quickbooks. I know I can create a CSV
or similar that Quickbooks can then import - but does anyone know if
Quickbooks can be referenced directly (like an instance of Excel etc.) and
"talked" to?

TIA

Thanks for the reply.

The little that I know about the QB SDK is that not all of the "objects" are
available. I specifically need to be able to create a purchase order from
Access and enter the details in Quickbooks. Before getting started I wanted
to make sure that PO information was "visible."

Aliza,

SDK V 4.0 for QuickBooks does allow you to add purchase orders. As I
read the docs, purchase orders can be added back through SDK 2.1, but I
can't be sure of that since we only use 4.0 now.
