Let your customer find fast and easy all text he searches !

AlphaTIX is a powerful, fast, scalable and easy to use Full Text
Indexing and Retrieval library that will completely satisfy your
application's indexing and retrieval needs.
AlphaTIX indexing technology provides you with highest indexing
performance, possibility to index very large sets of data in minimal
time even with memory constraints and unbelievable fast query
processing speed.

The main AlphaTIX's feature that makes it first and different among
the same type developer's solutions is the Fuzzy Search Technology
(Approximate Search) used in. This means you have a possibility to
provide
your application with search engine allowing to retrieve a text
containing mistakes, "mismatches" and also to determinate its
similarity percent.

AlphaTIX allows to create search engines with multilaguage
text support. Unicode and ANSI support provides with flexibility
enough to find not only regular English words but also other many
languages ones and work with multiple character sets.

AlphaTIX provides your projects with powerful query operators for help
to find the needed information in supporting the boolean operators
searches.
AlphaTIX's flexibility and possibility to set search results
similarity degree let your user narrow a search or find a large
variety of words and phrases differently similar to the query. Having
built insupport for vector space model it makes possible to range
these search results by query's similarity.

Having a low index overhead AlphaTIX's maximal index is less than 25 %
of the original text's size. AlphaTIX can work as well with small
systems as it does large ones and can index data ranging from
kilobytes to terabytes.

AlphaTIX guarantees index sefety even in the computer fault case
during index update.

AlphaTIX can be used as dll or as COM-server that means you can use it
as library or application with OLE
interface using OLE-automation.

There is a Dutch movie called "De Lift" where bio-chips play an
important part. The obvious etc.

I think the ad spam software becoming intelligent has its own flavor of
'je ne cest qua' as a horror-film premise :-).

BTW, Sprint (who just bought Nextel) laid off about 30,000 U.S.
programmers earlier this year opting to send the work overseas (Oakland
Press). Does anyone know of a cellular company that pays their
programmers, whether in the U.S. or offshore, a decent rate?

I sat down with a potential new client last March. A former client was
at the meeting. The potential new client stated, "We have a folder
about an inch thick filled with bug reports." I asked the former
client, "How big is your folder?" He said, "I don't know what you're
talking about." The potential new client got attentive. "You know,
the folder of run-time errors for the web site." "Oh, there were a few
run-time errors during development, but there haven't been any at all
in the years since the site went active."
