Data Access Page - Validation Rules

I have created a DAP linking to only one table. Several of the fields
on the table have validation rules. The only time my message boxe
comes up is when I am finished inputting data on the DAP and click
save. Then I get an error message but I don't even know which field it
is referring to. How can I get it to check the value when I tab out of
the field on a DAP?

e.g.,
Text box field name: Level
Validation Rule: A,B,C
Message Box: "Please enter an A, B, or C"

Thanks,
Sandy
