Access 2k image control error

I have had an application in MSAccess 2k for about year now without issues
until recently. My users were using it in W98 without issue, but recently
moved
to WindowsXP and now are getting an error. It is with the standard image
control while loading a TIF image. Loading these TIFs in W98 works but not
in WindowsXP. Does anyone know what is happening here? How to get around
this?

***************
The error is: Run-time error '2114'
Microsoft Office Access doesn't support the format of the file
'C:\EGS\Record Check\Images\111604240029.TIF,' or file is too large. Try
converting the file to BMP or GIF format.
***************

Thanks,
Scott

See http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;294255.
From what I gathered, it doesn't know what to do with a file with a TIF
extension.

Please permit me to add to this. This control does load TIF images. However
when I dug a bit I discovered the image with the error below, is a
multi-image file. Meaning there are two images in one file. This is the
problem. Anyone know any info on these multi-image files? What control will
load it? I don't even know how to create one.

FYI,

Access 2003 will not load these TIF's into the image control. Access 2000
will. I copied the mdb and the images to my laptop that has Access 2000 on
it. It works with Access 2000.
