#Name? on Form

I've searched through the archives and can't get an answer, so here
goes.

I have 2 databases where I want to make them relational. I can key
from one field in my primary database to the other database.

I want to create a form to enter data from. That form would have
fields from both databases included. And I want to be able to enter
or revise data in either database. When I try to do this I either get
no data from the relational database or sometimes I get the subject
error. I have joined the databases, but that doesn't seem to matter.

Am I trying to do something that isn't possible. I woould be happy if
I could just get the relational data to show, even if it is not
editable.

I have worked with Lotus Approach for years, but am somewhat new to
Access.
