Run-time errors

P: n/a
Hi to All

Trying to start up a Bespoke database (had it running and still can at
times) but mostly get a : Run-time error message followed by a string of
numbers and Operation Cancelled.
Running a: 1.10GHz Celeron PC, with Windows XP Home and 192Mb RAM

Also, I'm confused with the extension term .mdb files, that I can't open
and the Microsoft Access Database Application files. Where or what is the
best place to learn about ODBC? I guess ODBC is the 'real' database
technology.

I have a fair bit of knowledge about MS Access but need to know more about
ODBC, if that is the correct term. So any pointers as to where to begin I
would be grateful. And I know a lot of these questions are maybe a long-shot
but I am keen to learn. Many thanks

Many thanks
Alan
