Requery / recalc / ..... How to update combination field content in form after row source table is altered?

Hi to all,

I am working on a form with a combi-field on a subform. I want to give
the user the opportunity to alter the list-content (which is based on
a table) in a separate form.

The user can call the edit form while the main form stays open in the
background (so the user gets back to the spot / record after closing
the edit form).

When closing the edit form I was trying MainForm.Recalc and
MainForm.Requery to display the edited list in the combi-field. It
works for edited entries which are displayed correctly in the list.
However, new data won't show up.

What would be the way to get the correct, updated list into the
combi-form?
I am using A97.

Thanks in advance!

In the AfterUpdate and AfterDelConfirm events of the form where the combo's
RowSource is managed, requery the *combo*, e.g.:

Forms!NameOfOtherForm!NameOfCombo.Requery

I understand that I have to requery the field instead of the form.

Thanks!

Uwe
