Debug option unavailable in popup dialog box

SB
Hi,

I am using Access 97 on NT 4.0 SP6 and have recently lost the ability to
choose the debug option in the dialog box that pops up when a run-time error
is encountered. The option is there, but it is greyed out. The only option I
can choose is 'End'.

Has anybody encountered this before?

Perhaps you are running an MDE database (not an MDB one)? MDEs have no
displayable source code, so I imagine that the Debug option would not be
applicable.

TC,

Thanks, but it is definitely an MDB file. (Happens on all MDB files
incidentally, not just on one.)

Maybe it is secured & you do not have sufficient permissions to view the
objects in design mode?

Or, check out the Tools : Options settings. There's probably something in
there somewhere.
