Hi Everyone,
Just a quick one, does anyone have a good reference or suggestion for
info on integrating MS Graph with Access via VBA code? I have read
some conflicting information and just wondering if someone has a good
reference site that may save me many hours...
Cheers

Last I knew, you can't do a whole lot of MS Graph customization with VBA.
You can't set the chart type or scaling or headers or major/minor gridlines
or font sizes or font opacity or pie labels or pie explosion (hope it's a
blueberry!), etc, programmaticall y.
That said, MS Graph is decent - for the kind of business charting I do at
least. You can show graphs on forms and reports, and you can update them in
real-time in response to changes in user choices and data.

Thats a bugger about the programming of it. Do you know of any other
ways to achieve a suitable interactive graphic output? I was hoping to
build an app for some of our field sales people to look at some data.
I know of some ways to do this with other programming environments,
but I was hoping to keep this inside VBA / Access. Any ideas on how I
may achieve this?

I have programmaticall y worked on graphs is Access. Added trendlines, changed
colors, etc.. Look at the object model in the object browser and try some stuff
out. I don't know why it would be any less programmable than any other COM
objects.

Consider exporting the data to Excel and programmaticall y updating the graphs there.

Is there a python module somewhere (been searching today, no luck)
which has efficiently coded various graph-handling routines, such as
finding the shortest path through a graph, or the set of all paths
through a graph? I'm not a compsci-educated person, so coding my own
would be less parsimonious.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Is there any interest in a (hypothetical) standard graph API (with
'graph' meaning a network, consisting of nodes and edges)? Yes, we
have the standard ways of implementing graphs through (e.g.) dicts
mapping nodes to neighbor-sets, but if one wants a graph that's
implemented in some other way, this may not be the most convenient (or
abstract) interface to emulate. It might be nice to have the kind of
polymorphic freedom that one has with,...

I'm in the process of moving a large VC++ 6.0 project

the old IDE's "Callers Graph". Also, I can't figure out
how to display in a tree format the base and derived
classes of a class. Please help, these were some of my
favorite features!

I'm working on an image segmentation algorithm. An essential part of the
algorithm is a graph to keep track of the connectivity between regions.
At the moment I have a working implementation, but it's not flexible
enough anymore and I need something more advanced. I already have a data
structure in mind, but I don't know how to implement that nicely in C++.
// Main class which holds the lists with

I'm playing with CodeDOM and CSharpCodeProvider. I've found the following
possibilities:
CodeDOM -> Assembly
C# Source code -> Assembly
I miss the C# Source code -> CodeDOM only. Is it there? Or it's hidden under
the hood?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
