Hi all, I have an invoice table query that returns 10 records. ie. there
are 10 invoices.
When I try to join a subjects table to retrieve the subject name
associated with an invoice it returns 11 records.
I know this is because for each invoice, there might be multiple
subjects. So when I join the subject table to get the subject's name,...

I am developing a weed management database for the preserve I work on. One

patches have NOT been treated in the current calendar year.
This query involves two tables. The first contains the static information
about the weed patches. The second contains...

Hi and TIA. I have a text field that holds date info (01/01/01). My
customer wants to keep it a text field so I'm stuck with it. The problem I
have is that several users have added the date as 01/01/20 because they
thought they were entering 01/01/2003. Is there a procedure/function I can
run that will find the records with /20 and update...

Hi,
I am using Access2000 and have developed a data base which successfully uses
DAO code in some of the forms to update tables.
Recently I converted the data base to a split MDE data base and now get
errors in the DAO methods.
IE:
Dim Rst As DAO.Recordset
Set Rst = CurrentDb.OpenRecordset("TableName")
Rst.Index = "IndexName"

However, if I open WordPad from Access this way...

SendKeys "%FOc:\cr\docs\packets\ntrolttr.rtf~", False

Using Access97 I saved a form using "Save as Report".
A column of textboxes show they are un-bound in design view, yet, when
I preview the report these textboxes contain data even when there is
no controlsource connected.
They seem to inherit the static controlsource (="LCD") from the form.
I can't find a place in the report properties to...

Dear group, here is my problem
In the code of a form, i want to declare a variable :
Dim Base_Photo as Database, But Access 2000 don't propose
"Database" and don't accept it.
But, in an other Base, with Access 2000, this is possible and

Anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing access to not
save form changes after I "tell" it to, exit database, then re-open
later to discover the changes had not been saved (or somehow
reverted). BUT, new form module code is saved.
Example: created txtTitle control on form. Create AfterUpdate event

Hi,
I have a form with buttons (Ok, Close etc) on the form footer.
As the user tabs through the form controls focus will not move to the footer
controls.
Am I missing something here?
Do I have to trap the Tab key on the last control (keydown, keypress) in the
tab order and move focus to the first control in the footer.

Hello
My form is based on a query returning rows of a table. Practically, it
is based on a table, so simple the query is. A field on the form is
formatted as short time. The column in the table, on which this field
is based, is also formatted as short time. When the form opens,
everything is OK, the time field shows time as it should.
