Help With Google Sites? (Urgent)

I apologize in advance if I put this in the incorrect topic category, it's late and I'm tired.

I'm no super genius, but in my opinion I'm fairly okay with computers. In my tech class (I'm in high school) we have to create a full-fledged website with many specifics in one night. I'm not trying to slack off by asking this question. I've looked in various things, researched, everything. I cannot figure it out.

One of the requirements is make the links a custom shade of blue for unvisited, and a custom shade of red for visited. The website is a free one via Google Sites. No matter what I do, I cannot figure out how to edit the page or code in a way so this is achievable. If anyone knows how to, would you please explain? I'm desperate, trying to become valedictorian.
