Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. String s="<< Mr John is a single man he lives in alabama his phone number is 1111111111111 >>";
  2.
  3.         int i=0;
  4.         char ch;
  5.         String temp="";
  6.         while(i<s.length())
  7.         {
  8.             ch=s.charAt(i++);
  9.             if((ch>='0'&&ch<='9')||ch=='+')
  10.             {
  11.                 while((ch>='0'&&ch<='9')||ch=='+'||ch=='-'||ch==' ')
  12.                 {
  13.                     temp+=ch;
  14.                 }
  15.                 temp+="\n";

Use regex with Pattern.compile() and Matcher. (Read javadoc)

If you can't create a pattern in regex for the phone number you cannot extract it. (i.e. if the samples are not in any consistent format/position/length, it could be difficult)
