i need to grab data from the screen after the software has performed claculation and diplayed result on a form. there is no source code so i have to build VB to run particular software and then to manipulate data. someone has told me that every thing on a screen is an object and it can be read programmatically. is this true? thanks

Is there any way of modifying the internal padding (the distance between the column's left side and the actual start of the text) for a column in a listview control? I have a listview with many columns, and the total space wasted by the internal padding is quite annoying as it makes the form so large. Thanks, df
