expensive), I would quickly run out of USB ports.
The problem that I see is, some people will avoid purchasing a program that
uses a dongle. We they easily get lost and broken. Usually a software type
key can be replaced via a phone call or email to customer service.
Applications differ, but I believe folks expect their software to outlast
their computers. Having been burnt by lost lpt port dongles in the 80s I
wouldn't buy a program that depends on a dongle if I had any coice.
