evaluate exception

when i try to bind a textbox, i get an evaluate exception Cannot perform '=' operation on System.String and System.Int3
this happens on a tabselectedindexchanged event, and i use it to fill the textbox on the tab page, and it only happens the first time the tabpage load
please help
