Redistribute Microsoft Jet

I'm developing an application based on a MS Access 2000 database, wich usess
Microsoft Jet.
I was planning to deploy MSDAC 2.8 with my application, but I found out it
doesn't include Microsoft Jet.
How can I distribute the Jet engine? Do users need to have Access installed
theirselves?

Thanks.

No Microsoft Access does not need to be installed.
