Getting started with .NET

Hi,

I am about to switch from development in eVB to
..NET Compact Framework (presumably using VB .NET or C#)

Could anybody recommend me a good book (web sites,
articles.), which would help me get started?

I would like to get familiar with the actual coding
techniques, as well as Design Patterns, Best Practices,
features available, trends in Mobile development .

Thank you!

Hi,

the examples and quickstarts in the combined help aren't so bad.
I would also like to give you this Link:
