Visual Studio 2003 Compiler Error

Has anyone had the following error when compiling a solution in Visual Studio
2003 and if so is there a fix?

‘Could not copy temporary files to the output directory. No Extenders could
be found for the name 'Intel C++ Integration Tool' under the CATID
{89FB23F7-E591-4a2f-8E0F-64C0522FCF77}. Make sure that the Extender Provider
for this Extender is correctly registered.’ The first time it happened a
reboot corrected it. The second time it occured (with a few hours) a reboot
did not solve the problem.

I don’t think it is related to the .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1, which
I installed recently, as a developer in Australia reported the same problem
in May 2004 (http://mail.toolkit.net.au/pipermail...04/000038.html)

I have plenty of disk space and I have 'repaired' Visual Studio .Net but
still get the same error.
