Hello,
I am in search for a program to copy webpages to my local drive for
offline use.
I have come across several programs like Grab A Site, WebWhacker,
Teleport Pro, Visual Web Task, WINHTTrack, etc. But all these programs
seem to be having problems with the fact that i am sitting behind a
proxy . Normally there is an option in every...

But maybe there is a way. Thanks for information.

Hi,
I got a flash file in my web site. I got some menu buttons
above it. When the menu expands, the menu items are being covered by
the flash file. How can I make the menu items appear over the flash
file?
Thank you for your time.

On my website was a file, webcam.htm, that had a place for the image,

I'm trying to be "smart" about constructing web pages with common
elements. Since I don't have control over the server, and would
prefer not to use scripts to construct pages, I have tried OBJECT.
However, it does behave in (to me) non-obvious ways. (In case it's a
browser thing: I'm using Netscape 7.02 under OS X 10.2.6.)

I would like to know why the W3C decided not to make the following

<input checked type="radio" name="foo" value="bar" />FooBar
forcing people to write the following to make the document comply:

Hello,
I would like to know whether having a <table> element with two <tr> elements
each containing one <td> elements and two <td> elements, respectively, is
legal from the point of view of standard W3C HTML/XHTML. In particular,
is it legal for table rows to contain differing number of columns,
even when the colspan attribute is not used?...
