Greetings,
I'm trying to use CSS to position a table in the top right corner of a
webpage and not have the table disappear off the screen when the user
scrolls down.
Simply, my design is like this:
<table width=100%>
<tr>
<td=30%> </td>

I know this must seem totally basic and stupid, but I cannot find any reference that describes how to control the spacing between <p>...</p> and
<div>...</div> blocks. When I implement these on a page, there is a huge gap (like 3/8 inch or 25 px) between them. This is driving me bananas.
What the hey am I missing?

Hello everyone,
I used absolute positioning with div tag in my website. The page looks
cool as long as someone doesn't try to zoom in by increasing the text
size (ctrl++ or thru changing font size in browser settings). When
someone does that, the layers seem to overlap and the layer with a
greater z value pops in front and the other layers...

About once a week, I post an FAQ pointer in this newsgroup
under the same heading as this post. That pointer has two purposes:
1. To keep regulars from having to post the standard answers to standard
questions again and again; if you have a standard question, you might
save yourself some time by first reading the available material for
this...

I'm messing around the width of a table and can't see to get it right. Let
me explain what I am trying to do. I have 5 cells in 1 row. The first cell I
would like to be 20% of the screen space. The middle 3 cells are filled with
text and will be whatever width the text is (so no width specified). Then I
want the last cell to just fill in the...

Ok guys, I'm stumped.
I have an ASP page that converts the asp code in a form to html. It
then writes a VERY LONG URL and sends it to an email. I have it set
up to write to a link (so that the email isn't like a page long of
just a link) However, when it writes the URL, it trunkates it to a
certain length. Anyone know if there is a...

I'm working on yet another online editor, this allows non html savy
people to add "blocks" that may contain paragraphs, headings, lists and
images to the editable part of a template. The editable part of the page
tends to be simple and homegeneous (each "block" tends to have similar
content) as it's just a part of the page (the template are...

I've created a typical <form> and a <select> element. The options are
created dynamically from my access database (using asp).
There are about 70 options, and when you click the dropdown button, it

a scroll bar to get to the rest.

I have an image in a table cell and several lines of text inside a second
cell (see below) and the text moves into a skinny column as I make the
window smaller. This is a nice feature, but my job now is to make this text
appear glued down and not move around within the cell.
Please reply with a clue as to how I can glue this text. TIA, BTW....
