disable printing page title and page count?
Thanks.

Hello
I have a hidden input field in an HTML file. This hidden Input field must
contain the

The problem are the quotes in it because the input field ends here:
<xml><blabla>xlmns="
Is it possible that the value can also contain quotes in it? There must be a

Folks who use both HTML-Kit and a WYSIWYG editor such as Dreamweaver:
which tasks are done in which editor?
I have been using HTML-Kit to edit HTML for some time, and while I am

downloaded a trial version of Dreamweaver and am trying to figure out

About once a week, I post an FAQ pointer in this newsgroup
under the same heading as this post. That pointer has two purposes:
1. To keep regulars from having to post the standard answers to standard
questions again and again; if you have a standard question, you might
save yourself some time by first reading the available material for
this...

After doing a websearch, it appears that it's OK to omit the "http:" to form
a relative URL. Are there any pitfalls to this?
For example, if there is a page
http://www.domain1.com/page1.html
with a link to
http://www.domain2.com/page2.html
you can abbreviate the second link as
//www.domain2.com/page2.html

i think it is user friendly to have a default file in each subdirectory.
However, i hate to have lots of index.html files. Instead i would like to
have a meaningful and unique file name for all my default files. Is there
any way to specify the default file name for a given subdirectory locally
(i.e. not on the server)?
Thanks for any answers....

I have a site hosted by a commercial webhosting service. As such, I don't
have any real control over the webserver (in this case, Apache).
What are the most basic, essential elements of security in this case? My
impression is that there are two steps:
(1) binaries and scripts should be executable by the webserver, but not

I've been trying to tweak the design of a few pages in one of my ASP apps...
I'm making sure that the layout is reasonable for resolutions between
800x600 and 1024x768. Since it's almost all forms (rather than text) it
takes a bit of extra effort to find the right balance.
At the higher resolution, everything is fine. When I reduce the IE...

After looking around for a while, I seem not to be able to find a HTML

support Unicode :( Anyone have a suggestion? (free ones only, please)
Thanks,
