Hi all,
I've got a question concerning CSS.
I'm creating a page but I want to keep my background centered. I created a big background of 1920x1080 px which is being used as background of a div.
So I want to center the div depending on the screensize of the visitor.
How do I go about on this one because I can't get it to work.

I had a functioning background, until I embedded an .swf file on the page. Now the flash is hanging out in the top left corner, and it pushed the background image down below it. Why is the .swf file above the background, and not on it?

I'm not an HTML expert and create all my web pages using MS Word 2000.
I have looked around elsewhere for the answer to my question and it seems to be a problem with the HTML generated by MS Word 2000 including some "un-wanted" characters not in the "windows-1252" charset.
How should I deal with the problem?

I'm trying to build a responsive header for a website that I'm designing using the fittext.js plug-in. The text is scaling perfectly but I can't figure out how to nudge the text down so that the white color of the text connects with the white color of the body color.
You can check out an example of the header as I have it now and see an image...

Hi,
I am trying to alter the CSS of my site so that content does not get displaced when the browser window size is decereased.
Screen1 shows the page when the browser size is wide enough. This is deally how the images will appear no matter what the broswer
width is, the images that fall outside the width would merely not be shown.

I am using images as part of hyperlinks, and when I hover or click on the link the image seems to add a couple of pixels at the bottom - the image moves up and down on the page when I hover or click on it.
How can I stop this happening ?

All links r working fine. But when i give it to a customer, he wanna put that folder anywhere such as localhost/1/2/mysite
anyway to make the links portable and universal? Most files are in html folder while homepage included n 3 files are in root (i.e. mysite folder). any work around? base tag didnt...

So I overlayed 2 DIV floating pictures with tables on top of an IFRAME.
It won't let me click the links on Firefox nor Chrome, but let's me on IE.
