Just updated my Access 97 db front end to Access 2003. When I open my
linked table manager, it's empty and I have several linked sql tables and
access tables located elsewhere on the network.
I've updated several of these db front ends and the linked table manager has
always been populated... This last one isn;t.
Any thoughts??

contact type for each record - maybe three or four (because I'm listing
each contact's skills) - and I also need to able to search through
'contact types' taking into account all the categories.

I currently have a query that calculates the avg job time it takes an
employee to complete a job. I would like to rank the results. For
example, if I have 5 employees that complete Job 1 I would want to
give the employee with the fastest avg job time a ranking of 1. Any
suggestions on how I would do this??
Thanks

information into two tables (not sure if this is best idea), as some
entries may have these extra information some not.
Example:
asset table has information about certain attributes of asset.
