WindowsApplicat ion hosted in asp.net pages

Hi
I'm planning to realize an ASP.NET application and I'd like to use, for
a particular function, a control which have to run client-side but embedded
in Aspx pages (like flash playee or a lot of others viewer). I know I can
develop an ActiveX document vith Visual Basic 6, but since I hope to not
have to re-engineering the application for a long time, I'm looking for
newest technology. (I have to use VB.net or VB6)

Any suggestion, link, book, sample... will be appreciated.

Tanks Nicola

I need a little help here please. I have 2 win forms user controls in 2 different projects that I'm hosting in 2 different virtual directories. The controls have been test and operate okay in both projects. Both controls(dlls) have been signed using SN.exe and I've set up the appropriate .Net assembly permissions using those Strong Names The DLL's have been copied to the /bin directory in both web virtual directories.

Hi, I wish to write a WindowsApplication which prompts the user to enter a set of values in text boxes. I then what to write these values to an xml file. I have created my own class where these values can be stored as the application runs, but I am unsure where to declare an object belonging to this class. Should it be in the program class as a static member and do I then pass it to my Forms constructor? Thanks for your help,

Keywords: scope resolution, passing classes between parent and child forms, parameter constructor method, normal constructor, default constructor, forward reference, sharing classes between forms. Here is a newbie mistake that I found myself doing (as a newbie), and that even a master programmer, the guru of this forum, Jon Skeet, missed! (He knows this I'm sure, but just didn't think this was my problem; LOL, I am needling him) If...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
