Updating LOB fields through ODBC, invalid LOB locator

Hi,

I get an error "ORA-22275: invalid LOB locator specified" when I try
to update a BLOB field. I'm using ODBC ver3.0, and Oracle driver
v8.1.7.0 for Windows.

Are there any special steps needed to do this update?
