dbms_lob.open(f ils,dbms_lob.fi le_readonly);
dbms_lob.create temporary(xDoc, true);

dbms_output.put _line(dbms_lob. getlength(fils) );
dbms_lob.loadfr omfile(xDoc,fil s,dbms_lob.getl ength(fils));
-------------- the result is 176
dbms_output.put _line(dbms_lob. getlength(xdoc) );

I need to merge several XML files into one large. All of them has a DOCTYPE tag, but the SYSTEM identifier points to a DTD that doesn't exist. (I use the PUBLIC identifier with catalog files, so the SYSTEM identifiers has no purpose in my application.) Anyway, when I load each document, using XmlDocument.Load(file), I get a FileNotFoundException, because of the DTD pointer in the SYSTEM identifier. I'd rather skip all the entity...

I'm working in the migration of an asp.net application in 1.1 to 2.0. I'm new to this application, just worked with that some days. Today, I decided to open the project in VS.2005 and everything seemed to be fine, all opened and everything was migrated. I have been working on improvements on it this day. However, I found that sometimes I get this error : "Could not load file or assembly 'App_Web_tod59ga8, Version=,...

Two days ago, I built an ASP.NET 2.0 application and published it on a shared IIS 6 Web server. After publishing, and during the whole day, it worked fine. The server remained untouched since. Today, I wanted to access the home page of the application again with a browser. But instead of the proper page, I just got an ugly message: Server Error in '/' Application.

Environment: Win2k Server, ASP.NET(v1.1.4322) Everything seemed to work fine till this morning...and than this happened What could this possibly mean? Is it the file? (The file in the error is not missing nor is it misspelled or on a different path) Is it permissions? (ASP.NET account is given full access to E:\DNN dir)

I've seen this posted before in many places, but have yet to find a real fix. I have a web application on dev server right now, and randomly, hours or days, it returns the expception posted below. If I copy the incHeader.ascx.vb over to the server again, it appears to recompile and works fine, again, for random period of times. Even precompiling is no help. Is there a fix or workaround so this can some stability? Any help at all is...

From PHP, doing a DROP TABLE and a CREATE TABLE is successful, but doing a LOAD FILE keeps failing, with the error "Access denied for user 'db_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES)". The DROP/CREATE code and the LOAD FILE code are in separate .php files which I am running from my browser, but both commands are executed with mysql_query(). Don't know what I'm doing wrong, so I would appreciate any help with this. Both files run the...

Hi I am running a site built on asp.net 1.1 on a windows server 2003 (which is running asp.net 2.0 - shared hosting at my webhost). The site is low traffic and very simple (mostly static text apart from a couple of usercontrols that pull info from a sql db). The problem I'm getting is that it will run fine for a few days, then suddenly the following error will occur: --------------------------------------------------

I haven't changed the code I'm running for a long time, and it's been working. Now, starting yesterday, I keep getting an error randomly when I load my site. It crashes saying "Could not load file or assembly 'App_Web_7q2a0mha, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified....

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
