Running Oracle database on Unisys OS2200

Anyone has experience with running an Oracle database with Unisys OS2200??
I'm looking for a way to migrate RDMS to Oracle and than migrate the
applications from Unisys to another platform. How should i best migrate from
RDMS to Oracle while the applications still running on Unisys?

Hi. I'm implementing a web deployment using 9i. I have a table for STOCK, which has one or more PURCHASES, which have one or more PURCHASE_ITEMS. When a purchase item is INSERTED, I'd like the web module component to update the relevant grandparent record of STOCK, and when UPDATED, to remember the previous level and adjust accordingly. ...

No flame wars, please! We're planning a move from a non-relational system to a relational system. Our choices have been narrowed to Oracle and DB2. Since we're moving from non-relational to relational, then we're not currently using any relational-type operators. So I expect the end result to use simple, SQL standard commands and queries....

Hi. I have a number of batch jobs that are ran nightly on our Windows 2000 based Oracle 8.1.7 (soon to be 9i) server. I have these designed just right, so the Windows Scheduled Tasks runs them and then a parser goes through the output and, in case of errors, sends me a page... The database is our financial system which requires users to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
