Embedding IE inside a windows form, is it any sample code?

Hi all,
I'd like to use html/xml/xsl for rendering views in a windows form client. I
assume I should embed IE inside a windows form in order to show the form
inside a MDI form. I should also capture events from the IE at the windows
form level. Can you point me to any hints, sample code?

Thanks in advance

Sammy,

Have you taken a look at the WebBrowser control in .NET 2.0? If you
arent using .NET 2.0, you can right click on the toolbox in VS.NET and add
the WebBrowser control under the COM tab on the dialog that comes up when
you customize the toolbox.

Hope this helps.

I accidentally sent this to webmaster@python.org, so this could be a duplicate if "webmaster" forwards it to this list. :{ Hi, there. Thanks for any help that can be offered. I've been working with Python for a year or more now, but only doing simple extending in C/C++. I'm now attempting some embedding and several questions have come to mind. BTW - I'm running Windows 2000 with Python23 and VisualC++ developers

With some googling I have found these resources: http://docs.python.org/ext/win-dlls.html http://www.python.org/doc/faq/windows.html I have a large Win32/MFC/C/C++ application that has an embedded scripting language (a very limited one). I would like to rip it out and replace it with Python. I am thinking that this would be relatively simple since the scripting language is a very small interface between the UI and the engine --...

With Reference/Resource is there a way of embedding the .resource file within a folder of my application instead of having it in the main project /executing assembly area. i.e. if I have a folder pertaining to variables, I would like to have that "variables.resource" file within that folder and be able to call it from there instead of calling it from the executing assembly area. So far I am unable to figure out the complete syntax of...

Sure I can pass this.Control in parameter in my constructor from my windows form and it works, but I don't want to do that. Is there any method or function that allow retreive who call the constructor? I also don't want...

Hi, I still have the same problem with embedding Windows Control. I'll just requote what I posted last time: I managed to create a Windows Form Control and put it on my ASP .NET page. I have done the suggestion that is provided by modifying the security settings. From the stack trace, I would assume that the code throws exception when it

Hi All, I am creating the perl script using html form(with embedded javascript inside). When using this html form with javascript alone, it works where the form validation will pop up javascript windows to say the field is not keyed into properly. However, when i convert this html(with javascript inside) into perl script, the perl script did not validate when i keyed incorrect data in the form and it straight away executed perl script...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
