creating XML file from classes (created from the XSD)

From: nag k
Hi,
I have an XSD from which I have to create an XML. I havecreated c# classes from the XSD (I cant create typed datasets asit gives me error while doing it through XSD.EXE). I am gettingthe data from the database, currently I am looping through thedata and filling the classes and serializing the class to createthe XML. The problem is there is a lot of data that needs to goto the XML. I am looping through this data (about 10,000)everytim e. Is there a better way to fill this class from thedatabase? Any inputs are welcome.

Thanks,
Nag

We have an issue where the JAXB generated classes are creating an interface which references itself. The Schema is valid, and I have not seen this ran into before. The code is below. What is interesting, is if I change the name of ErrorType to Error the issue goes away. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Do you have a solution? The pertanant part of the schema: <snip>

(I'm new in SOAP) I get some wsdl file (from apache service ). I tried creating SOAP client with .NET - trying to add Web Reference and get error like: "Custom tool error: Unable to import WebService/Schema. Unable to import binding..." I thought may be wsdl file is not good enough (it was created with qsoap toolkit), so I paste-copy sample from http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/NOTE-wsdl-20010315#_wsdl (will paste below) and receive same error...

Hi, I want to create a DTD in an XML file in memory. The XML file is created using the DOM in C#. I am new to all this, but couldn't find anything about creating DTD's using the DOM (well, I found some references but it doesn't tell me how to do what I want). Here's my code: XmlDocument xdoc = new XmlDocument();

Guys, I have had some experience in working with webservices created in .NET but this is the first time I am trying out one made in Java. When I run the wsdl exe to create a proxy class for the wsdl provided it throws the following error. Error: Unable to import binding 'CosmosXXXXXBinding' from namespace 'urn :XXXXX'.

Hello, (Is this the proper newsgroup?) === Background === I am building a solution with two projects. One project is my data access layer which contains my DataSet as an xsd file. The XSD file was built by draging tables from the Data Sources pane. Auto-generated code created the files associated wtih the XSD file (xss,

Hi all I use the XSD utility provided with visual studio 2008 to convert xsd files into a c# project file, we then call this DLL from an application written in Delphi to provide read/write capability. To fully get this working we need to manually modify the .cs file that is generated adding in interface definitions so this managed dll can be seen by COM. This works fine until the xsd files are updated.Changes of about 5% of

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
