Assembly method dependency walker

Hi

I am trying to find a tool that shows a dependency tree for method calls from an assembly. If the method call chain goes across assemblies, this would also be shown
I have looked at dependency walker and Reflector for .Net, these tools show assembly dependencies but I want drill down one more level to get the assembly method call dependencies

Cheers Mike

Greeting, Anyone know any tool to identify whether an assembly is in Debug or Release? I can use "Dependency Walker" from VS 6. How about VS .NET? Got anything tool like that?

Hi, In C++/CLI (with VS2005 beta2) I wrote a little wrapper around a native dll (to which I headers and .lib). Wrapper was a ref class with some methods calling native functions from native dll. It all compiled and linked fine giving me an assembly dll. Sweet. Then I created C# project and added a reference to my wrapper. In C# I created intance of a wrapper class and called some of its methods. Again it compiled with no problem....

Hi, It is trivial to load an assembly in a new Application Domain. Is there any way of loading an assembly in a new process? I tried using the Process class like this: Process p = new Process() p.StartInfo.FileName = mStartupFile p.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = False

For years I have lived and died by depends.exe (Dependency Walker) to determine what other DLL/modules my C/C++ code needed for installs. Is there such a tool for .net assemblies?

I've completed migrating one of our company's C++ Managed Code applications to VS2005. I'm now attempting to run the application but there seems to be problems when accessing an object that is properly exported from a utility dll of ours. The dll is written in MFC with sections of C++ Managed Code. The dll exports its objects in the same manner as any VS2005 Solution Wizard driven win32 dll base code, using the model: ...

Hi, We code DLL's and so far it was done using VS6.0. We are planning to migrate the VS.NET 2005 and use the VS6 VC++ code which generated the DLL to VS 2005 VC++.NET. However we donot plan to use any of .NET features as of now. I just need the C++ code to compile and generate me the .dll file. When I tried porting it to VC++.NET, the project file was converted and an adding the dependency include / bin folders, the project compiled to a...

I have a solution consisting of a c# project as win application and a c++ project as classlibrary. Both are .net 2.0 The classlibrary handles some loading of quicktime movies, but that should not be relevant. On my development machine I build the exe and dll and run the exe which has a reference to the dll. At some point it uses featured in the dll. This works fine. Then I copy my exe and dll to the target system and when the featured...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
