Can I store XML tagged Paragraphs in Memo fields and then parse them?

I almost know nothing about xml but naturally what I want to do seems fairly difficult. I want to create a on demand document creation system using xml and backended from a regular rdbf system with limited xml support. Basically the system can dump the table into well formed xml data element schema and it has its own xml parser. with search replace add subtract functions.
what I want to do is store xml tagged Paragraphs with the element taggs in the paragraphs in a dbf table with an Id and description for each paragraph in say a simple text memo field. I then would extract the element data from the rdbf tables name, address, telphone, etc.and automate the xml attribute tagging of the data via a sort of dump table into well formed xml function. Upto here I can see but now I need to get both parts togeather. how can I do this or what do I need to do this I have Adobie Framemaker V9 but I reall know so little I don´t understand how I can get the data into the paragraphs and the paragraphs into a complete document. any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.
