xml-index

Hi,

I am back with another problem. I want to create an index of a chapter using xml and xsl-fo; and also index should be displayed at the end of the page (i.e., end of the book or in last page). It would be good if a suggestion is given with clear explantion of already done task or running examples, instead of books for reference/samples of xml books.

Regards,

would you deny my advice if I tell you I never read a book about XML? And I've not used xsl-fo for the last 31 years too.

I guess you'd define a separate page template for that and grab all the chapter denoting elements for printing. for reference see Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) Version 1.1 (the official definition of XSL-FO, which is always good to have at hand)

regards
