Formating XML data for Bold/Italic in text controls

Hi,

following is the part of my xml file.
data.xml

<Value>
This is normal text
This has to be printed in bold.
This has to be printed in Italic.
This has to be printed in bold/italic.
New line has to be introduced for in above line break every where
<\Value>

After reading this node data, i need to display this in text box in formatted manner(like some text in bold, some in italic etc).

But still i need to maintain readability of the data.xml, since the typical user edits this data fill the data for <VALUE> node. So i do not want to complicate the node structure by adding more child nodes(like bold, italic, ) .

Pls let me know any simplest form of handling this.
Many thanks.

Finally i followed

Formatting my XML file with CDATA section. which contains the formatted text using html tags. Reading these CDATA tag section, used System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser control to display it. Text displayed as format specified in the XML file / CDATA section.

That is exactly why XML is document centric,
and that is why if you use XSLT you can format the XML document the way you want it.
