XPath - Find this Node

Greetings,

The current structure of an xml doc is as follows:

<INSTRUCTION Name="name">
<INSTANCE>
<PARAMETERS>
<PARAMETER Name="param1" Value="0"/>
<PARAMETER Name="param2" Value="1"/>
<PARAMETER Name="param3" Value="2"/>
<PARAMETER Name="param4" Value="3"/>
</PARAMETERS>
</INSTANCE>
:
:
</INSTRUCTION>

I need to grab the 'INSTANCE' node if 'param1' = # and/or 'param2' = #. Attempts like:

//INSTRUCTION/INSTANCE/PARAMETERS[(PARAMETER/@Name = 'param1' and PARAMETER/@Value = '0') and (PARAMETER/@Name = 'param2' and PARAMETER/@Value = '1')]

fail becuse PARAMETER/@Value checks every child attribute, not just the one where PARAMETER/@Name.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I suggest something like:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. //INSTRUCTION/INSTANCE/PARAMETERS
  2. [PARAMETER[@Name = 'param1' and @Value='0']]
  3. [PARAMETER[@Name = 'param2' and @Value='1']]
  4.
